This album was originally slated for production in late 2019, but plans were halted by the global pandemic. Forced into isolation, Moniyaaw retreated into the studio for the next several years producing what would become Caught in a Dream.

“Finishing an album doesn’t come naturally. The impulse is to continuously tinker and tweak the songs. If given the time, say a global pandemic, one will continue to fetter and remix and never actually get the damn thing done. At some point, I realized I had to wake up and release it.”

The album also features many Nagamo collaborates including Semiah Smith, Drives the Common Man, Tom Wilson, Bryden Gwiss, and Tasheena Sarazin. 

Personnel include Jeremiah and Casey Pick, Dan Leigh, Micah Sky, and Joshua Van Tassel.
